Meet the team
Head Coach and Founder – Jake Gower

Our head coach, Jake Gower, founded this company after 7 years of building his reputation in the sports coaching industry. Jake studied at Solent University for 3 years; qualifying with a BSc Sports Coaching Honorary Degree. Alongside his degree, Jake has numerous qualifications to bolster his coaching ability:

Lead Coach – Tyler Butler
Tyler started Coaching at JG7 Coaching in 2023 as a Football Coach. Tyler went on to study at the University of South Wales which helped him earn his University Degree in Football Coaching and Administration and his UEFA B Licence. Since early 2025, he has also became a Sports Coach at Nightingale Primary School. He holds the following qualifications;

Lead Coach – Ed Hawkes

Our coach, Ed Hawkes, joined the team in early 2022 after working with and developing young children in the early years sector. Previous to this, Ed has experience in Sports Coaching through earning his Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport at Strode College. To further his knowledge in the industry, he holds the following the qualifications:

Lead Coach – Ross Butler
Ross is a MSc Sports Performance Analysis graduate from the University of Chichester & football coach for Chelsea foundation (include if you want). He is Passionate about football and committed to delivering engaging, inclusive, and enjoyable sessions for both primary and secondary school students, helping young players develop confidence, skills, and a love for the game. He holds the following qualifications;

Lead Coach – Callum Roberts

Callum is a Sports Coaching student at the University of Winchester with an FA Level 1 qualification and has a strong passion for football and coaching. He is dedicated in helping children develop their skills, confidence, and enjoyment of the game through positive and engaging coaching experiences. His goal is to inspire young players and share his love for football with the next generation. He holds the following qualifications;

Lead Coach – Bradley Pothecray
Bradley has been coaching football since 2022. He supports Southampton and use to play as a defender when he played football. He believes that the most rewarding part of football coaching is watching the players you coach develop into better players and better people. He holds the following qualifications;

Lead Coach – Danstan Fernandes

Danstan has been playing Professional football for the last 10years and has vast experience in playing in different leagues in India. He also makes sure he gives the same out to his coaching career too. Whilst having been in the UK since April 2026 he has acquired his FA Level 1 and on course in completing his UEFA level C by the end of 2026. He is a passionate human when it comes to football and the only thing that matters to him is to win. He has a positive attitude which he always carries with himself as a human and as a coach. Lead Coach – Hermione Cull
Hermione is a 22 year old professional Female footballer. She currently plays for Portsmouth Women as a Goalkeeper. She has coached young girls and boys for about a year but looking to develop her coaching skills further. She holds the following qualifications:

Lead Coach – Daniel Eades

Daniel is a FA Level 1 Football coach with a strong passion for the game. Currently coaches two teams at AFC Stoneham since September 2025, making a positive impact on player development and performance. Former midfielder who enjoys helping young players grow their skills, confidence and love for football. He holds the following qualifications:

Lead Coach – Joseph Fay
Joseph is a 17-year-old football coach with a strong passion for football and developing young players. He is currently studying a Level 3 NCFE in Sporting and Physical Activity and have completed a range of FA qualifications, including BT Playmaker by England Football, Safeguarding Children, Safeguarding for All, Introduction to First Aid in Football (IFAiF), Concussion Guidelines and Sudden Cardiac Arrest. He also has practical coaching experience working with children of different ages and abilities. Alongside coaching, he is a goalkeeper for Hampshire FA, giving him valuable playing experience and a strong understanding of the game. He is enthusiastic, reliable and committed to helping young players improve while making football enjoyable, safe and inclusive.
